Dr. Montoya is a distinguished neurologist and epileptologist and is triple board-certified in neurology, epilepsy and clinical neurophysiology.  His professional focus spans critical areas such as electroencephalography, epilepsy surgery, intracranial ... monitoring and neurostimulation. His dedication to medical education and patient care is reflected in several awards, including the A.B. Baker Teaching Recognition Award from the American Academy of Neurology. An active participant in professional circles, he contributes as a guest speaker and committee member.

Apart from his medical pursuits, Dr. Montoya enjoys mountain biking and watching motorsports, which underscores his belief in a balanced lifestyle that combines physical well-being with professional dedication.
