Cardiovascular Clinical Training programs
The Cardiovascular Institute at the Baylor Scott & White The Heart Hospital–Plano boasts cardiovascular clinical internship training with a 1:1 clinical instructor to student ratio.
Dietetic Internship
Baylor University Medical Center offers a nine-month dietetic internship (DI) and a 21-month Masters of Clinical Nutrition and dietetic internship (MCN/DI)
Health Economics and Outcomes Research
This two-year fellowship to prepare talented individuals with a strong interest in pursuing a career in Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR) for positions in areas including managed care, the pharmaceutical industry, consulting and academia.

Medical Laboratory Science
The Program in Medical Laboratory Science is a one-year training program to prepare skilled, competent laboratory scientists. It's available to students with a bachelor's degree in science (4+1) or students currently enrolled in a medical laboratory science or medical technology degree program (3+1).

Physical Therapy Residency programs
Baylor Scott & White Health offers two physical therapy residency programs in Central Texas designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of physical therapists. One program focuses on advanced practice for neurologic conditions, while the other prepares therapists to specialize in orthopedic physical therapy.
Affiliation information
In order for a student to receive training in any of our allied health programs, applicants must be enrolled in an accredited program that requires clinical or educational training within the healthcare field. An affiliation agreement must be in place between Baylor Scott & White Health and the school, college or university at which the applicant is enrolled.
The school must be certified by the State of Texas. Schools not certified may apply to the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board to become authorized.
