She provided clear instructions on how to take the medication, when to seek additional medical help, and when to go to the emergency room. She advised me to follow up with my specialist and used motivational interviewing to encourage me not to give up hope. She also recommended non-pharmacological treatments for symptom management.She went above and beyond by providing information on how to prevent the recurrence of the condition for which I was being seen, as well as other preventative measures to help protect myself from infections. Although I'm not sure how long the visit lasted, she covered a lot of ground without overwhelming me. She took a holistic and patient-centered approach to her care and has an exceptional bedside manner. I am truly grateful for her and for the availability of this telemedicine service, especially since I have a weakened immune system! | |
