When I start getting sick from all my respiratory issues, I make an appointment, usually 3 days of steroid and antibiotics shots, then 7 days of oral antibiotics. I start hurting real bad in lungs and head, thats when my BP gets dangerously high. Dr Shelton treats this. Sometimes it keeps me out of ER. He didn't rush me, and patiently asked me if there was anything else. I'm glad he said that and because he said it in such a patient way, I didn't feel like I had to frantically think of every thing else in a split second-which has been my experience in my past history of some other doctors I have seen. I'm so glad I thought of my prolapse issue (with my 3 bulging hernias), because Dr. Shelton was able to recommend a Specialist who is good and happens to be right next to his office. The Specialist I saw 3 years ago had pretty much given 3 not desirable options and I thought a hysterectomy was Inevitable. Dr. Shelton told me they have discovered new treatments besides surgery. I can't wait to find out what they are. Also, Dr. Shelton used his anatomy skeleton to explain what was likely going on In my right shoulder, and a steroid Injections could help 'loosen It up"-if my occasional pain persists.
