I feel the ladies at the check in desk went way way above and beyond to work me in when another person canceled their appt. They got me in so quickly I was amazed. The CMA was very compassionate, as was Heather. I was in intense pain due to a corneal abrasion and they really helped me calm down to get an accurate idea of my problem. Heather is so sweet and took initiative in my care when she discovered the clinic was out of R eye shields. She prescribed a course of treatment and reassured me that the pain would lessen after a few applications of prescription erythromycin ointment. It has gotten much better since last night as predicted. I am very reassured with all the CDM weekend providers, as I have unfortunately been there with unanticipated urgent medical problems a few times lately. Thank you for this service, and please consider adding either more providers or more hours as I understand they usually get all the time slots booked by noon. There doesn't really appear to be a way to book these in advance by calling. No one answers the phone and you have to show up and hope you can get in to avoid possibly going to your horrible ED. | |
