Bringing healthcare to you, one community at a time
The Baylor Scott & White Health and Wellness Center mobile Community Health Unit is a vital resource to reduce barriers to healthcare for women in lower-income, medically underserved areas.
We understand that accessing quality healthcare can be challenging. The mobile Community Health Unit connects with women aged 18-64 who face barriers such as:
- Limited access to providers
- Inconvenient local clinic hours
- Lack of transportation
- Uninsured or underinsured
The mobile Community Health Unit brings healthcare to you, delivering essential diagnostic and preventive health services directly into the community. It aims to help address key health concerns affecting women such as diabetes, kidney disease, cervical cancer and high blood pressure.
Your health, our mission
By bringing healthcare directly to your community, the mobile Community Health Unit makes it easier to access the services you need to take charge of your health and provides access to those who may otherwise face significant obstacles to care.
