All imaging procedure results are read and returned by our highly experienced team of board-certified radiologists on our medical staff within 24 hours—usually the same day. In addition, we are accredited by the American College of Radiology in many different imaging procedures.

Our imaging staff includes more than 50 radiologists on the medical staff at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas who have subspecialty training in the areas of:

Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas is also recognized by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board for certified nuclear medicine technologists. At all centers, quality guidelines are also met in accordance with Baylor Scott & White Health, Texas Department of State Health Services, American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.

Safety
Patient safety is a vital part of the vision of Baylor Scott & White Health. At Baylor Diagnostic Imaging Centers, we make it our top priority to continuously monitor our imaging processes to align with appropriate radiation safety measures.
In particular, we have reduced the amount of CT contrast given to patients by up to 25% by creating personalized protocols for each patient referred for a CT exam. This attention to detail extends to all imaging modalities performed at our centers, minimizing our patients' exposure to radiation while we continue to provide the best possible quality imaging.
