Frequently asked questions (FAQs)
I already had a Thrive365 portal account, why do I need to create a new one?
With our switch to a new platform, powered by WebMD, all users need create a new account. The first-time registration allows the WebMD platform to verify your employment / spouses’ employment at Baylor Scott & White Health. You will only have to do this one time.
After the initial account creation:
- Employees can use the SSO Log In for future access, without needing to enter a platform-specific username/password.
- Spouses can use the Username Log In for future access, using the information they entered during registration.
Why don’t employees need to use the username/password for future log-ins?
Using SSO-authentication for employees helps create a simple, streamlined experience. After creating an account, employees can automatically connect to the portal using the SSO Link for easy access.
Why do spouses need to create their own account?
All spouses can take advantage of the Thrive365 resources and activities. Creating individual accounts supports the full, personalized portal experience. Spouses will use the BSWH-employee's information during the initial account creation, choosing a username/password for future log-ins.
New Hires
Due to the onboarding process new hires must wait 7-10 business days from their hire start date to access the site. Though you won’t have access to the portal right away, the good news is that you can still participate in Thrive365 by attending webinars, starting coaching or participating in other wellness program offerings.
