Programs and services
The Baylor Scott & White Health and Wellness Center provides personalized health and wellness through exemplary care, education and services.
Community outreach
In fulfillment of our mission, our efforts go well beyond the doors of our facility. In addition to services provided at our center, community health workers and wellness staff go out in the community to educate families and individuals about healthy lifestyles and available resources.
PEERS (Prevention, Empowerment, Education, Resources and Support) program
An outreach program utilizing community health workers to increase awareness and educate the community about chronic disease prevention and management.
Healthy Cities program
A community-based outreach program that extends evidence-based programs and promotes healthy behaviors in surrounding high-need neighborhoods.
Tweeners program
We offer a youth development after-school and summer camp program that addresses gaps in programs and services for at-risk youth in middle school. Our program focuses on academic enrichment, leadership, nutrition education, anti-bullying/anti-violence, STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) and career exploration.
